Greg Ireland remains foxes’ headcoach
Canadian Greg Ireland came to Bolzano in early 2020 and led his team to 15 wins in 19 games, without a defeat in the past ten. This streak gave Bolzano to finish the Pick Round in first place for the first time in the club's history. Subsequently, his team also won the first three playoff games before the championship was ended early. In the upcoming 2020-21 season, the Canadian headcoach will continue in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League and lead the “foxes” in their third participation in the Champions Hockey League.

Vienna focus with Dave Cameron on continuity

The spusu Vienna Capitals will be coached by Dave Cameron in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season 20-21. The Canadian starts his third season with the two-time champion. Christian Dolezal takes over the position of assistant coach.

"Of course, we try to fight for the title again. But everyone knows that it's a very long way to get there. I think we will have a good mix in our team. Some of the talented youngsters from our Silver Capitals squad showed their potential last season. Now it's up to them to take the next step," said Cameron, who reached the final with the “caps” back in 2019.

EC-KAC welcomes back David Maier
After five years in Sweden and Canada, Klagenfurt native David Maier returned to his hometown club, where he signed a contract until the end of the 2022-23 season. Back in 2015 the 20-year-old was transferred to the junior department of the traditional Swedish club Södertälje. In the last two seasons, the defender played in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL): He showed up in 98 league games (3 goals, 37 assists) for the North Bay Battalion and the Peterborough Petes during this period.

Bratislava signs two imports
The 28-year-old Brock Higgs made his European debut towards the end of the 2016-17 season when he moved to HC Banska Bystrica. With the Slovaks, for whom he also played in the 2018-19 season, he won the Tipsport League twice. In the 2017-18 season, the center reinforced the Moser Medical Graz99ers (18G|20A). Most recently, he played for the Daemung Killer Whales in the Asia League.

Damian Kapica will contest his first season outside his home country Poland with the Slovaks. The national team player was active in Krakow for the past few years, scoring 62 points (22G|40A) there in the past campaign.
