Three clubs have announced further roster changes for the upcoming season in the Alps Hockey League. While the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan and the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it presented contract extensions, the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel fixed their goalkeeper duo.

"Broncos" keep their captains
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan have extended the contracts with their captain Fabian Hackhofer and his two "alternates" Tobias Kofler and Hannes Oberdörfer for the coming AHL season. They are the "supporting pillars of the Wipptal team", the club's press release said. Hackhofer, who will celebrate his 30th birthday in August, has been the captain of the Wild Horses for three seasons and set a new personal record last season with 27 points (4 goals and 23 assists) in 44 games. Due to injury Kofler only played 34 games in the past season, but he convinced with nine goals. Oberdörfer, who joined the “broncos” from the bet-at-home ICE-club HCB Südtirol Alperia in summer 2017, scored 25 scorer points in the last AHL season.


Lindner and Galassiti extend in Gröden | Nedved leaves the team
The 19-year-old defender Tim Lindner continues his career at HC Gherdeina valgardena.it and enters his third full AHL season. In a total of 81 games he scored nine points. The 21-year-old forward David Galassiti scored five goals each in the last two seasons for the South Tyroleans and will start his fourth consecutive AHL season after playing at HC Neumarkt 17-18. Ondrej Nedved is no longer in the Gröden team. The Czech moved to the second French league.


Goalkeeper duo in Kitzbühel complete
With René Huber from HC TWK Innsbruck Die Haie, the EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel has inked its second goalkeeper for the 20-21 season in the Alps Hockey League. Already in the 18-19 season he helped out with the Eagles in the AHL and was covering the net for four games. From Kufstein, the 19-year-old forward Manuel Eder was signed on, who will henceforth act together with his brother Florian. His contract and also the contracts with Josi Riener and David Kreuter were extended.
