Graz renew contracts of Kirchschläger and Kainz
The squad of G99 head coach Jens Gustafsson for the 21-22 season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League has grown further: Austrian defender Erik Kirchschläger remains at Graz. The 25-year-old moved to Styria at the beginning of the 18-19 season – in the past campaign he scored five goals and dished five goals in 50 appearances.
In addition to Kirchschläger, the contract with forward Lukas Kainz has also been extended, as he starts his fourth season at Graz too. In 20-21, he scored a total of seven points (five goals).

Villach takes Rebernig on loan
EC GRAND Immo VSV has taken Maximilian Rebernig from EC Red Bull Salzburg on loan. The agreement was made for the upcoming season of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

Maximilian Rebernig went through all the junior teams of the Salzburg organization until he was accepted into their academy at the age of 14. His performances earned the now 20-year-old a place in the Red Bull Hockey Juniors farm team, which plays in the Alps Hockey League. Soon after, he also got assignments in the ICE team: His professional debut for Salzburg followed in January 2020 - in the then 3:2 win against the Vienna Capitals he showed a strong performance. And already in the following match against Linz he was able to celebrate his first goal. In total, Rebernig played 16 games for EC Red Bull Salzburg, scoring one goal and one assist.
