The HC Pustertal has strengthened its team for its premiere season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League with Finnish veteran Jasse Ikonen. The 30-year-old has played 553 Liiga games so far. The Finn Ikonen will thus be under contract outside his home country for the first time. He has been involved in the Liiga since the 2013/14 season, playing for a total of six clubs – past season at Porin Ässät – and recording 181 points. He also participated in the Champions Hockey League in four seasons. The highlight of his career was the championship title with Karpät Oulu in 2018.

Fehérvár signs Brady Shaw
Brady Shaw, the 28-year-old son of NHL coaching legend Brad Shaw, moves from Esbjerg Energy (DEN) to Hydro Fehérvár AV19. He started his hockey career after his college days in the American Hockey League and then played in the ECHL. The USA-Canadian dual citizen spent last season in Denmark, where he scored an impressive 72 points in 47 games.

Grafenthin remains at Graz
The Moser Medical Graz99ers have extended the contract with Dominik Grafenthin. The upcoming season in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League is already his fourth for the Styrians. At the beginning of the 2018-19 campaign, the now 25-year-old native of Germany came to Graz. In the last two seasons, Grafenthin struggled with injuries at times. The hand injury he suffered past year has now completely healed.
