Rostislav Cada was most recently co-responsible for two seasons for the youth programm at Swiss club HC Ambri-Piotta, where he coached the U20 team. He started his coaching career 35 years ago, back then at his home club in Brno. By then he was already working for several seasons in Switzerland. Between 2002 and 2009 he coached in his home country, Slovakia and again Switzerland. At the beginning of the 09/10 season he took over HC Kosice and won the Slovakian extra league twice. He then coached Avangard Omsk in the KHL (11/12) and further HC Slovan Bratislava.

"I am glad that we have agreed on a cooperation, Rostislav Cada becoming the new head coach of iClinic Bratislava Capitals. He is a respected and experienced coach who has worked in top teams and leagues. I fully identify with his methods, which are based on hard work, professional approach and discipline," says Bratislava manager Dušan Pašek.

"The main reason why I accepted the offer from iClinic Bratislava Capitals was that I received it from Dušan Pašek, whom I know as a player and appreciate the character and professional values. The vision of the club fascinated and convinced me. The playoffs are the goal for our premiere season - and we want to attract as many spectators as possible to the Ondrej Nepela Arena with good performances," said Rostislav Cada in a first statement.
