spusu Vienna Capitals were the chiefs on the ice in the beginning of the game and had early chances, but EC Red Bull Salzburg scored the first goals: Hochkofler (17.) and Herburger (20.) gave the Champions Hockey League semifinalist a 2:0-lead within just 190 seconds late in period 1. The Caps had a perfect start into period 2: DeSousa potted the 1:2 from close range after just 15 seconds. The Capitals have even tied the game: Clark beat goalie Michalek with a shot from the distance - 2:2 (31.). Head Coach Poss found the right words in the break: Cijan gave Salzburg the 3:2 lead after just 144 seconds in period 3. But, the guests took a penalty then and were punsihed quickly: Captain Nödl potted the 3:3 in the following Power Play. The game went to Overtime and to Shoot Out, where Duncan scored the Game Winner  for the Red Bulls.

Moser Medical Graz99ers searched their luck in the offense against EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz. The Styrians were finally rewarded with the 1:0 netted by King from near the right circle (10.). But, the Upper Austrians responded quickly: Umicevic was successful with a shot from the blue line just 103 seconds later. The 99ers had a perfect start into period 2: Johansson netted the 2:1 after just 138 seconds. Then, the Mur Citizens did not give away their lead anymore and they have even added three late goals potted by Natter (51.), Grafenthin (52.) and Loney (57./pp).

Thanks two early Power Plays, HCB Südtirol Alperia had the upper hand in the beginning of the game. The Foxes were finally rewarded with the 1:0 in minute 14: Geiger netted the 1:0 with a shot from the distance. The score remained unchanged until the final minutes. Klagenfurt fighted until the end and was finally rewarded with the 1:1 by Neal in minute 59. So, the meeting of the two best defensive teams went to Overtime, in which Petersen outplayed goalie Irving and decided the game for EC-KAC. Klagenfurt defended place 2 with their fourth season-win against Bozen.

Fehervar AV19 made the game in Innsbruck in period 1 (12:5-shots), but the Sharks were effective and got a 2:0-lead thanks goals from Yogan (2.) and Lammers (8.). The Hungarians had a perfect start in period 2: Koskiranta potted the 1:2 after just 41 seconds from the middle distance. The Tyroleans stayed unimpressed and responded just 157 seconds later: Lavoie potted the 3:1 in minute 24.  But, Fehervar AV19 stayed unimpressed and continued taking shots on the opponents goal and was finally rewarded with the 2:3 by Tikkanen (32.). Then, the Devils took some penalties and were punished in minute 46: Sedivy made the 4:2 in a Power Play (46./pp). The Hungarians showed charakter and  responded quickly, Koskiranta netted the 3:4 just 31 seconds later. In minute 58, Erdely has even potted the 4:4. The game went to Overtime, in which Yogan fixed the fifth straight home-win for HCI. Fehervar AV19 took one point and is just one point behind place 6.

EC Panaceo VSV and HC Orli Znojmo searched their luck in the offense (16:13-shots in period 1). The break-through has come in minte 15, when Schlacher beat Lassila fom close range. Villach had a perfect start in period 2 as well. Brunner scored the 2:0 after just 212 seconds. In minute 30, Matt Pelech took the first penalty and the Eagles were quickly punished by Kalus. This was the game-changer: The Czechs were back in the game and Oscadal (38.) and Matus (39.) turned the score within just 61 seconds – 3:2. Villach had a perfect start into period 3. Sharp has quickly netted the 3:3 in a Power Play. The Red Eagles stayed unimpressed and responded quickly wit goals by Kujawinski (43.) and Mrazek (53.). Then, the Czechs did not give away their lead anymore and have finally won 6:4.
EC Panaceo VSV has signed AUT U20 nationalteam defenseman Patrick Stückler.

The Dornbirn Bulldogs were on fire in Zagreb. The West-Austrians won 10:2 and earned their highest win in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. The Vorarlberger netted seven goals in period 2, O’Donnell was successful four times. The Croatians had to celebrate twice taking advantage from Power Plays.
