The Red Bulls dominated the game against Hydro Fehérvár AV19 from the beginning, but could not capitalize on their playing superiority in the first period. In the second period they scored five times: Thomas Raffl (21.), Vincent LoVerde (25.), Peter Schneider (29.), Paul Huber (30.) and Aljaž Predan (34.) with his first pro goal ever gave the Red Bulls a superior lead. Fehérvár's Csanad Erdely then scored shortly before the second intermission on the power play (40th) from one of the few chances of the guests and reduced to 1:5 from their point of view. But the home side just kept going and increased again at the beginning of the final third (41st) on the power play, Dominique Heinrich scored from distance. In the 45th minute Peter Schneider added one more for a 7:1 lead. In the 56th minute Fehérvár's Joshua Atkinson reduced the score once again, but the final point was set by Peter Schneider, who scored for the third time in the same minutes and thus achieved a hat-trick. The Red Bulls finally won clearly 8:2 and extended their lead in the standings.

Znojmo with perfect road trip
HC Pustertal and HC TESLA Orli Znojmo met for the first time ever on Saturday. Both teams celebrated clear victories the day before and went into the game with a correspondingly high level of self-confidence. The visitors got off to the better start, Jakub Köver scored on a rebound in the third minute to take the lead. Although the hosts put a lot of pressure on for long stretches, it remained with only one goal in the first period. In the 23rd minute, HCP's offensive efforts were rewarded by a Hanna goal. Ten minutes later, however, Filip Ahl netted after a counterattack to make it 1:2. Subsequently, the home side failed to score either because of Znojmo goalkeeper Pavel Kantor or they just hit the post. After Ahl (45./PP) even created the two-goal lead in the power play, Anthony Bardaro (56./PP) made it exciting again with another PP goal. But just 32 seconds later, Josh Brittain scored to make the final score 2:4. With the third win in a row, the still tenth-placed Eagles further extended their lead over the non-playoff spots.
