EC Red Bull Salzburg put an end to Steinbach Black Wings Linz's five-game winning streak with a 4-3 victory after penalty shootout and scored in its ninth league game this season. The win2day ICE Hockey League champions were trailing 1-3 until just under five minutes before the end of regulation, Lucas Thaler (55.) and Troy Bourke (58.) fired the "Red Bulls" into overtime.
