Kitzbühel’s six-game winning streak has come to an end. Facing league leaders Red Bull Hockey Juniors, the fourth-placed team suffered a 3–6 defeat on home ice. The Juniors, meanwhile, extended their lead over Sisak to four points and celebrated their eighth win in their last ten games. Salzburg had edged the first season matchup 2–1. On Thursday, the Juniors got off to a lightning-fast start, taking the lead after just 44 seconds through Adrian Gesson. In the seventh minute, Nick Maul made it 2–0 for the visitors. Kitzbühel improved as the game went on and equalized by the 25th minute, only for the Juniors to regain the lead shortly afterwards. With a 3–2 advantage for the guests, the teams entered the final period, where Henrik Hochfilzer first equalized for Kitzbühel. However, the Eagles were unable to respond to the league leaders’ subsequent go-ahead goal, resulting in a 3–6 defeat for the team from Tyrol.

Zell am See claim road win in Cortina
EK Die Zeller Eisbären earned a 4–2 victory at S.G. Cortina Hafro and moved up to third place in the standings. It marked the Polar Bear’s sixth consecutive win, while Cortina suffered their third straight loss and now sit ninth. Zell am See led 2–0 after just three minutes, but Cortina recovered quickly from the early shock and tied the game before the end of the first period. It then took until the 52nd minute for Philip Putnik to restore the lead for the visitors, before the defending champions sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final minute.

Narrow road win for Asiago in Sisak
After four consecutive victories, second-placed KHL Sisak fell at home to HC Migross Asiago in a tight 1–2 loss. For the fifth-placed Italians, it was their second straight win and their first ever victory over Sisak. In the season’s first meeting, the Croatians had prevailed 5–4 on the road. Ryan Valentini put Asiago ahead in the 13th minute, and Nicholas Porco doubled the lead on the power play in the 34th. Bohdan Panasenko scored Sisak’s lone goal, also on the power play, in the 43rd minute. Despite generating numerous chances for an equalizer, Sisak were unable to convert.

Gherdeina rallies to defeat Jesenice
HDD Jesenice led 2–0 on the road against HC Gherdeina valgardena.it but ultimately fell 2–3. With that, Gherdeina—currently 10th—celebrated their first victory after six straight losses, while 11th-placed Jesenice suffered their fourth defeat in the last five games. Until the 43rd minute, things looked promising for last season’s finalists from Slovenia, but a goal from Martin Castlunger sparked the comeback. Luka Moncada tied the game in the 49th minute, and just three minutes later, Simon Pitschieler completed the turnaround for Gherdeina.

Sterzing forces Unterland to their knees
The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan collected their third consecutive win and thus kept hold of eighth place in the standings, while bottom-placed Hockey Unterland Cavaliers suffered their second straight defeat. In the 2–1 home win, Alexander Brunner put Sterzing ahead in the 12th minute, and Davide Conci extended the lead to 2–0 in the 21st. It stayed that way until the 52nd minute, when Thomas Pisetta cut Unterland’s deficit to 1–2, but the visitors were unable to find an equalizer.
