The bet-at-home ICE Hockey League semifinal series return to Salzburg and Vienna for the second time on Saturday. EC Red Bull Salzburg have their backs to the wall after three losses to EC-KAC and are fighting against a first-ever playoff sweep. The spusu Vienna Capitals, on the other hand, are building on their home strength again in the fourth duel with HCB Südtirol Alperia. Both matches will be shown live by the ICE TV partners.

  • Bolzano regained the lead in Thursday's hotly contested semifinal - it was the third home win of the series
  • In the 6:3 victory, the South Tyroleans scored three powerplay goals and also scored once in a shorthanded situation
  • HCB have won five of the nine duels this season
  • The Viennese have been very strong at home in the playoffs so far - all duels at the Erste Bank Arena have been won so far
  • The Caps have even won their last five home playoff games in general
  • The Viennese won 17 of 28 home games against HCB

  • The 6:0 home win was Klagenfurt's second-highest in 147 meetings with Salzburg: on 12 October 2004, the Carinthians won 7:1
