EC Red Bull Salzburg is keeping two homegrown talents from the Red Bull Ice Hockey Academy in its professional lineup. Nineteen-year-old Vadim Schreiner, who impressed early in his debut season before being sidelined by injury, is aiming to complete a full professional campaign. All-rounder Lukas Schreier, who successfully transitioned from defense to offense last season, remains a vital part of the team. Known for his versatility and relentless spirit, Schreier will continue to play a key role in Salzburg's lineup moving forward.

At HC Pustertal, following the contract confirmations of Frycklund and Pasquale as well as new backup goalie Jakob Rabanser, the Wolves present their first major new signing: Austin Rueschhoff is heading to Bruneck. The 27-year-old American forward not only brings imposing physical attributes – standing 200 cm tall and weighing over 100 kg – but also extensive experience from the AHL and Finland’s top league. After four solid seasons in North America and a strong campaign with Kärpät Oulu, where he scored 17 goals, Rueschhoff is ready to make an impact in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

HK Olimpija Ljubljana also secures a key player for the upcoming season: Experienced forward Nick Bonino will continue wearing the Dragons' jersey. With over 800 NHL appearances, two Stanley Cups, and experience as captain of Team USA at the World Championship, Bonino brings invaluable leadership and a winning mentality to Ljubljana’s ambitious project. He is expected to take on an even greater leadership role both on and off the ice next season.
Additionally, defenseman Shawn Lalonde will bolster the Dragons' blue line. The versatile Canadian quickly impressed during his first games with Olimpija with his physical style and powerful shot. Lalonde brings a wealth of experience from the AHL, Germany's DEL, the KHL, and top leagues in Sweden and Finland, making him a crucial addition for Ljubljana’s defensive corps and game strategy.
