Red Bulls take John Peterka on loan
The EC Red Bull Salzburg tabbed John Peterka on loan. The 18-year-old forward, seen as an upcoming NHL first-round draft pick, arrives from EHC Red Bull München - and is expected to stay in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League until the Penny DEL season starts in mid-November.

After playing for the EHC München e.V. and the EC Bad Tölz, John Peterka joined the Red Bull Eishockey Akademie in the 2017-18 season. Two years later, Red Bull Munich signed the then 17-year-old. Last season he played 52 games (42 DEL, 10 CHL) for the DEL side and scored eleven points.

Alexander Lahoda moves to Linz

The Black Wings Linz hired the 24-year-old forward Alexander Lahoda from league rival EC VSV and kept Julian Pusnik for another season.

Born in Zell am See, Alexander Lahoda spent the last two seasons with EC VSV. He played 105 games for the “eagles” and scored 21 points. The 24-year-old forward was formed at the Red Bull Eishockey Akademie. For Salzburg he made his debut in the former Erste Bank Eishockey Liga in the 14-15 season. Julian Pusnik, who played only 23 games (1G|2A) due to an injury in the previous season, extended his contract in Linz. Born in Villach, he spent the period from 2017 to 2019 in the junior department of Swedish club Mora IK.

Ali Wukovits stays another year
