  • There have been two duels so far this season, both ending in high-scoring victories for Graz (5:4 and 5:3 respectively).
  • Overall, both teams struggled on the defensive end and have already conceded more than 100 goals this season. (G99 | 107 GA | 3,45 per game resp. BRC | 108 GA | 3,48) Only HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie had to concede even more goals (3,58) per game.
  • Daniel Oberkofler celebrated his comeback after injury in the last G99 road trip. Against the HCI he has already scored. It was his 132nd goal overall in the ICE Hockey League.

  • VSV will have to play without convalescents Jamie Fraser, Patrick Bjorkstrand, Christof Wappis and Philipp Kreuzer. Martin Ulmer will also be absent.
