EC Red Bull Salzburg celebrated a 1-0 oad win after overtime over the iClinic Bratislava Capitals in Tuesday’s lone bet-at-home ICE Hockey League game. Salzburg's top scorer T.J. Brennan hit the game-winner after 20 seconds in overtime.

For the second time this season, the iClinic Bratislava Capitals and EC Red Bull Salzburg faced each other. The first meeting was won by the Salzburg side at home with 5:2. The Slovaks were eager for revenge - and were clearly more present in the first period, creating more chances. Atte Tolvanen in the visitors' goal saved twelve shots on goal in the first period.

As the game wore on, the patiently playing guests became stronger and were able to put the home side under pressure towards the end of the second period. Nevertheless, the game continued in the final period goalless, where Salzburg was clearly closer to the winning goal in a double powerplay occasion. Their top scorer T.J. Brennan benefited from a collision of two Capitals players and hit the OT game winner in a one-on-one against Baros. Goalie Atte Tolvanen celebrated his second shutout (24 saves) in his sixth league appearance.
