The EC VSV aims to take revenge for the close derby defeat against the EC-KAC in September. The 99ers and the HC Orli Znojmo seek to end losing-streaks in a direct battle.

  • The 99ers had to take three consecutive defeats recently, Zojmo even lost the past four games.
  • Znojmo won the first duel oft he season with 3:0
  • The 99ers won five out of seven home games. 
  • Only Fehervar received more goals than the 99ers this season. 
  • Ken Ograjensek booked the second most assists this season in the league (15.)

  • The KAC won the first derby of this season with 4:3
  • The KAC is on a winning streak of three games. 
  • The VSV had to make extra shifts in the past two games. First they won in shootout, after that they had to take a defeat in overtime.
  • The KAC is leading the all time derby heads up with 161:138 wins
  • Thomas Koch scored already 22 goals in derby in his career. 
  • The KAC converted only 7,14% of their shots onto the goal this season. But the redjackets shoot the most pucks toward the goal. 
 
Thomas Koch, Forward KAC: „We are looking forward to the derby for many reasons. We won the past three games and aim to extend the streak. I made the experience, that we only can be successful in the derby, if we cross our limits. We are ready for Sunday.”
 
 
Niko Brunner, Defenderr VSV: "The Derby has its own rules. The KAC has a very talented squad. We need to play a compact defense and are not allowed to give them too much space. We are ready for the game, small things will make the difference.”
