Both Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie still have the opportunity to improve by one place in the remaining two rounds. HC Pustertal Wölfe is still in the race for the tenth place, as the South Tyroleans are one point behind Graz before the remaining two rounds. For the defending champions, however, it is also about securing second place and thus qualifying for the Champions Hockey League. Salzburg, for whom Nicolai Meyer will make his comeback, will achieve this with any point win. Vienna, is dueling with EC-KAC for fifth place.
