Win2day ICE Hockey League | 24.02.2023 | Schedule:
Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm: Hydro Fehérvár AV19 – HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie
Referees: GROZNIK, SIEGEL, Gatol-Schafranek, Muzsik. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Both Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie still have the opportunity to improve by one place in the remaining two rounds. The Hungarians - they have recently scored three times in a row - are dueling with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz, which are without a game this time, for seventh place in the standings and the right to pick for the pre-playoffs. Kevin Constantine's team is currently four points behind the seventh-placed Upper Austrians. With every point gained, past season’s runners-up would maintain their chance to finish seventh. Innsbruck is fighting for second place in standings and thus home rights in a possible semifinal or qualification for the Champions Hockey League for the first time. The "Haie" are four points behind second-placed Salzburg. To stay in the race for second place, Innsbruck has to get two points more than Salzburg. While Székesfehérvár was in action both Sunday and Tuesday, the Tyroleans have been on break since Friday. The "Haie" have won all three duels of the season, making up for a deficit in two games. ICE top scorer Brady Shaw (25G|43A) scored in all three games against his former club.

Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm: EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV – HC Pustertal Wölfe
Referees: HRONSKY, OFNER, Durmis, Riecken. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HC Pustertal Wölfe is still in the race for the tenth place, as the South Tyroleans are one point behind Graz before the remaining two rounds. If the points are tied after regular season, the “Wölfe” are to be ranked ahead of Graz due to the advantage in the direct duel. Against Villach, the South Tyroleans thus want to score important points to push the duel to the all-decisive last gameday. The Bruneck side have recently gained the necessary self-confidence with three wins in a row, the guests also need a broad chest to inflict on Villach, for the first defeat in 2023. The "Adler" have won all seven home games so far this year. Of the three games so far this season, the Carinthians, for whom it is the last game in the regular season, have won two. HCP coach Tomek Valtonen will have the full roster available, with Daniel Glira and Olivier Archambault, who have been missing recently due to illness, returning. VSV is missing Artus Kulda and Simon Despres, but Chris Collins is available again.

Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm: Moser Medical Graz99ers – EC-KAC
Referees: SMETANA, STERNAT, Bärnthaler, Seewald E. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The Moser Medical Graz99ers have the chance on Friday to qualify for the Pre-Playoffs 2023. As tenth in the table, the Styrians are currently one point ahead of their pursuers Pustertal. If the Graz team wins after 60 minutes and the "Wolves" remain without points in Villach, the 99ers will qualify before the last gameday. The tenth gets support from Kevin Moderer, who announced his career end only a few weeks ago in Villach, gives his comeback in black-orange. Whether other recently injured players will return will only be decided on match day. Graz has stabilized recently, especially at home, taking points in six of its last seven home games. Johan Pennerborn's team has only picked up one point against the KAC this year (2:3 OT defeat on September 30). Klagenfurt has been qualified for the playoffs since Tuesday and can fix its fifth place in the standings on Friday. For this, the "Rotjacken" have to get as many points as the sixth-placed spusu Vienna Capitals in the parallel game against Salzburg. The Austrian record champion's personnel situation has eased before the last weekend in the Regular season, with David Maier, Luka Gomboc, Fabian Hochegger, Nick Petersen, Daniel Obersteiner and Finn van Ee, six recently absent players are available again.

Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm Uhr: EC Red Bull Salzburg – spusu Vienna Capitals
Referees: FICHTNER, NIKOLIC K., Nothegger, Sparer. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
EC Red Bull Salzburg still has a chance to win the Regular Season, as the reigning champion is four points behind league leader HCB Südtirol Alperia before the remaining two rounds. Before the two teams meet on Sunday, Salzburg has to get at least one point more than Bolzano on Friday. Only then do the "Red Bulls" still have a chance to take first place in the final showdown. For the defending champions, however, it is also about securing second place and thus qualifying for the Champions Hockey League. Salzburg, for whom Nicolai Meyer will make his comeback, will achieve this with any point win. Vienna, is dueling with EC-KAC for fifth place. Currently, Dave Barr's team is three points behind the "Rotjacken". In order to postpone the decision until Sunday, the "Caps" have to get one point more than Klagenfurt on Friday. In the three meetings this season, the home team has always prevailed. The "Red Bulls", who are unbeaten in the Salzburg Ice Arena for ten games, have also won the last six home games against Vienna. Vienna could be without the injured Ben Finkelstein and Nico Brunner, while Salzburg will be without Bourke and Loney.

Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey – BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg
Referees: NIKOLIC M., Zrnic, Pardatscher, Snoj. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and BEMER Pioneers Vorarlberg will play their second game within 24 hours on Friday. If the Italians have not already reached the pre-playoffs on Thursday evening – the game is live on www.live.ice.hockey (PPV) from 7:45 pm – they now have another chance to do so.

Fr, 24.02.2023, 7.15 pm: HK SZ Olimpija – HBC Südtirol Alperia
Referees: RENCZ, TIRLAR, Hribar, Miklic. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HCB Südtirol Alperia has the chance to fix the win of the Regular Season on Friday. To do so, the two-time champions must pick up the same number of points as Salzburg does in their home game against Vienna. The "Foxes" have won their last seven road games in a row, but have yet to win away against HK SZ Olimpija. The "Dragons" – then in a different line-up – won 5:2 in mid-October, but the last comparison ten days ago in the Palaonda was won by Bolzano with a commanding 5:1. HCB coach Glen Hanlon will be without Diego Glück and Hannes Kasslatter. Matt Frattin is slightly injured and will not make the trip to Slovenia. New signing Radim Matus is set to make his debut.
