For the second time this season the South Tyrolean derby between HC Pustertal and HCB Südtirol is scheduled. In the first duel of the season, the "Foxes" prevailed narrowly with 2:1. The defeat against Bolzano was already the seventh in a row for Pustertal. Three more and a change of the head coach would follow before the "Wolves" were able to win again for the first time last Tuesday. However, Pustertal still occupies last place in the standings. Bolzano suffered a 3:1 home defeat against Lukko Rauma (FIN) in the Champions Hockey League Round of 16 first leg during the week. In the ICE, the fourth-placed team in the table remained victorious in five of the past six games. For Pustertal the game on Friday will be the first encounter within 24 hours. Goaltender Zan Us saved all 26 shots and celebrated his second shutout. Meanwhile, the Slovenian was able to keep the zero four times.
