Bozen vs. Linz: Home strength meets winning streak
The Black Wings head to South Tyrol on the longest winning streak of the season. Most recently they won 6-0 in Salzburg, with Martin Reder stopping all 31 shots. Bozen, on the other hand, have won all four of their home games. Last season the South Tyroleans also won both home games against Linz, but the most recent meeting went the Black Wings’ way. On Friday Bozen lost in Ljubljana, after their previous three games had all needed overtime. Three points separate the two teams, with Bozen having played one game fewer. A regulation win would pull Bozen level on points.

VSV vs. Pustertal: Strong at home, struggling on the road
EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV also went to overtime in three straight games before falling to Graz in regulation on Friday. Kevin Hancock scored twice in that game. HC Falkensteiner Pustertal have won four of five home games but only one of four on the road. With a game in hand, Pustertal sit two points ahead of Villach.

FTC vs. KAC: Response needed
EC-KAC lost at home to the Vienna Capitals on Friday and travel to Budapest in fourth place. On the road, Klagenfurt have already shown their scoring touch twice, putting up seven goals in wins in Salzburg and Ljubljana. FTC-Telekom have won their last two home games and sit seven points behind Klagenfurt with two games in hand.

Milano vs. Fehérvár: Second meeting within 24 hours
Milano Hockey Club and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 face each other twice in Milan this weekend. Saturday’s game completes Round 11, while Sunday’s counts toward Round 12. Going into the double-header, the Hungarians had the league’s least productive offense with 19 goals.

Innsbruck vs. Ljubljana: Two streaks collide
HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie have won their last three games, Olimpija Ljubljana their last four, most recently against Bozen. With 47 goals, the Slovenians boast the league’s most potent offense. Last season Ljubljana won both meetings in Innsbruck, while Innsbruck won twice in Ljubljana, both times beyond regulation.
