Senna Peeters comes from Belgium, but also has Austrian citizenship. His training years were very international, with the now 21-year-old playing junior hockey in Germany, Austria, the USA, Canada and Sweden in addition to his home country. He took part in three world championships with the red-white-red U20 national team and made his debut for the senior team in April 2023, for which he has played 16 international games to date. The right winger has played his two professional seasons to date in the service of HC TIWAG Innsbruck, collecting 38 points (16 goals, 22 assists) in 43 league games for the Tyroleans in the past season - only six Austrian ICE players recorded a higher points per game average in 2023/24. In his age category U22, no crack in the league has scored more points per match in eleven years than the neo-Klagenfurt player. Senna Peeters will be reunited with Thimo Nickl at the Red Jackets, as the two of them (together with Marco Kasper) also played for the Rögle BK U20 team in Sweden.

Senna Peeters: "I'm really looking forward to the ice hockey city of Klagenfurt, both from stories and from my own experience as an opponent I've realised how much support there is for the club and the team here. I think I can play my part in the team's success, and I can promise that I will try to bring my best game to the ice every day. I'm looking forward to improving myself through the professionalism and determination of the EC-KAC organisation and I'm very motivated to play a good season in Klagenfurt. I'm especially looking forward to playing in a packed Heidi Horten Arena in a Red Jackets jersey."
