HK SZ Olimpija has been the chief on the ice in Klagenfurt on Wednesday. Gal Koren has finally opened the scoring in a Power Play in minute 18. The Slovenes dominated the game after the re-start as well (19:3-shots) and extended their lead with goals from Luka Zorko (33.) and Anej Kujavec (40.) – 3:0. The green dragons had the game under control in period 3 too and added another three goals from Saso Rajsar (49.), Janez Orehek (53.) and Ales Kranjc (54.), earning their sixth straight win.
Wed, 17.10.2018: EK Die Zeller Eisbären – EC „Die Adler" Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 3:2 (1:0,1:1,1:1)
Dinhopel (6.) and LeBlanc (29.) gave EK Die Zeller Eisbären a 2:0-lead. The Eagles from Kitzbühel searched their luck in the offense as well, but goalie Machreich stopped all shots in the first 39 minutes. Then, the Tyroleans stroke twice in a Power Play: Adam Havlik (40.) and Hochfilzer (54.) were successful in Power Plays and equalized the score – 2:2 . But, EK Die Zeller Eisbären found a way to win the game, LeBlanc potted the game winner 80 seconds before the end.

The goalies Felix Beck (20 Saves) and Martino Valle da Rin (29 Saves) allowed no goals in the first 40 minutes. The break through came in minute 51, Virtanen netted the 1:0 for the „Wälder“ in a shorthanded situation. Then, the Vorarlberger defended their lead until the end.
