Fabian Scholz returns from EK Die Zeller Eisbären to the VEU Feldkirch. The 29-years old Austrian defenseman has already played for the Vorarlberger in the INL 2014/15. Scholz will add much experience to the team, he played 281 Erste Bank Eishockey League-games for EC-KAC, EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz (Champion 2012), Moser Medical Graz99ers and HDD Olimpija Ljubljana between 2009 and 2016, scoring 38 points. The last three season, Scholz has been a key-player for EK Die Zeller Eisbären, he collected 94 points (30G/64A) out of 100 matches. Furthermore, he has experience from playing in Finland, Sweden and Germany too. Besides, defenseman Sven Grasböck and forward Smail Samardzic will continue playing for the VEU in the upcoming season too.

Schröder stays in Kitzbühel
Friedrich Schröder will go for goals and points for EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel the upcoming season as well. The 23-years old Austrian forward potted four goals out of 42 Alps Hockey League games for the Eagles past season.

Lustenau announces new players and PreSeason
EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau has added with Colin Long (USA/GBR) and Frederik Rasmussen (DEN/AUT) two new forwards to their team. Colin Long is already best known in the Alps Hockey League. The speedy center has already gone for goals and points for Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 2016/17 and Gherdeina (2017 – 2019), scoring 105 points ot of 92 games. Long, who is also known as a hard worker, will add much experience to the team too: Prior, the 29-years old power-forward has successfully played for teams in Germany, Sweden and overseas. Frederik Rasmussen leaves his home-country Denmark for the first time. The 23-years old power-forward spend his youth with Vojens and has already played 205 games for SønderjyskE in the Denish top-League since 2014, earning one Silver Medal 2019. Besides, youngster Mattias Adam will go for goals and points for the Lions 2019/20 as well.
The Vorarlberger have also presented their Pre Season program: The West-Austrians will play six friendly games against strong teams from Germany and  Switzerland.

Bruneck signs Italian defensemen
Vice-Champion HC Pustertal Wolves has signed the Italian defensemen Tobias Brighenti and Roland Hofer. Brighenti went from Rittner Buam to Buneck, while Hofer arrives from Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. Both have been key-players for their teams: Hofer, who has already won the Alps Hockey League with the Rittner Buam 2017, had twelve points out of 32 matches for Gherdeina past season. Brighenti scored 12 points for the Rittner Buam 2018/19 as well. Besides, defenseman Gianluca March will continue playing for the Wolves in the upcoming-season too.
