KHL Sisak continued their impressive run with a 5–2 home win against Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, marking their sixth victory in seven games. Third-placed Kitzbühel had the better start, taking a 2–0 lead, but a quick double strike from Vito Idzan brought the Croatians level before the first intermission. The middle frame remained scoreless until Sisak took their first lead in front of 1,700 fans in the 43rd minute. Two more goals sealed the win and handed Kitzbühel their third defeat of the season.
Coffman hat-Trick powers Zell am See past Asiago
American forward Tim Coffman was the difference-maker as EK Die Zeller Eisbären edged HC Migross Asiago 4–3 on the road. The 37-year-old veteran netted a hat-trick to lift the defending champions back on track after two straight losses, while Asiago suffered their first defeat after three consecutive wins. In a balanced game in front of 1,100 spectators, Zell am See took the early lead before Asiago turned the game around by the 32nd minute. Coffman struck twice more to restore the visitors’ advantage by the 43rd minute. Christian Jennes added an empty-netter two minutes before the end to make it 4–2, before Asiago scored a late consolation goal with nine seconds left.
Gherdeina extend winning streak to four
HC Gherdeina valgardena.it continued their strong form, earning their fourth consecutive victory with a 3–1 home win over the in-form Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Adam Brady (10’) and Davide Schiavone (23’, 25’/PP1) found the back of the net for Gherdeina, while Nico Koschek (44’) scored Salzburg’s lone goal.
Cortina win shootout battle against Ritten
S.G. Cortina Hafro edged the Rittner Buam SkyAlps 4–3 in a shootout. The visitors from Ritten led twice, 1–0 and 2–1, before the game was tied 2–2 after two periods. Cortina took a 3–2 lead on a power play in the 55th minute, but Ritten equalized with a power-play goal from Simon Kostner two minutes before the end to force overtime. With no goals in the overtime, the game went to a shootout, where Brandon Fortunato converted the decisive penalty for Cortina. Ritten is sixth in the standings, one point ahead of Cortina.
Bregenzerwald claim road win in Unterland
EC Bregenzerwald earned a 5–2 victory on the road against bottom placed Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. In a tightly contested matchup, the visitors led 2–0 after 31 minutes. Unterland got on the board in the 50th minute, but Roberts Lipsbergs restored the two-goal cushion shortly after with the first of his two goals.
