After Meran had rallied from a two-goal deficit to win Saturday’s opener 4–2, Sisak came out determined to respond on home ice. In an initially balanced first period, the Croatians proved far more efficient: just three minutes in, defenseman Ivan Puzic fired home from the blue line. Sangyeob Kim doubled the lead in the 9th minute with an impressive one-timer, before Filip Kasparek made it 3–0 a few minutes later. That cushion held through the first intermission.

The second period turned into a wild exchange of goals, but again the hosts were more efficient. Within a span of five minutes, five goals were scored — 21-year-old Kasparek earned his first-ever brace — as Sisak surged to a 7–1 advantage. Pascal Brunner pulled one back for Meran in the 39th minute, only for the home side to answer again before the break: Danila Larionovs netted shorthanded for the second time, completing his hat-trick.

A string of penalties shaped the final period. David Trivellato reduced the deficit for Meran, but Sisak had the last word: in five-on-three power plays, Vito Idzan and Patrik Dobric sealed the resounding 10–3 final score.
