With a hard-fought 4:3 win over bottom-placed Hockey Unterland Cavaliers, KHL Sisak returned to first place – even though the Croatians have already played two more games than their closest pursuer, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Sisak opened the scoring after just 27 seconds and controlled much of the play, doubling the lead midway through the second period. Unterland, however, struck twice in the same frame to tie the game. The hosts regained momentum in the final period and pulled ahead 4:2. The Cavaliers managed to cut the deficit, but could not force overtime. Vito Idzan recorded a two-goal night.

Kitzbühel Stays Close Behind the League Leaders
Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel secured a 2:1 overtime home win against the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, keeping pressure on the league’s top teams. After a scoreless opening frame with a slight edge for the visitors, the Adler took the lead early in the second period. The Broncos tied the game in the final frame, but both goaltenders continued to impress and forced overtime. There, defender Jacob Pfeffer netted the game-winner. Kitzbühel now sits just three points behind second-placed Red Bull Hockey Juniors.

Asiago Earns Confident Home Victory Against Ritten
The third Thursday matchup also ended with a home win. HC Migross Asiago earned a convincing 4:2 victory over the Rittner Buam SkyAlps, strengthening their connection to the league’s top four. After a scoreless first period, Ritten struck first – but Asiago answered immediately. Two shorthanded goals in the following minutes paved the way for the hosts’ win. Having already impressed in numerical disadvantage during their victory two days earlier against Gherdeina, Asiago delivered another strong “back-to-back” performance on the penalty kill.
