Newcomer KHL Sisak has taken the lead in the Alps Hockey League after a victory and will hold onto it throughout the entire international break. The Croatian team triumphed in the only game on Saturday evening, defeating EC Kitzbühel 4-1.

KHL Sisak continues to make waves in the Alps Hockey League. The newcomer from Croatia stands at the top of the table for the first time after a 4-1 victory over EC Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – despite having played three games fewer than their closest competitors. In the top match against Kitzbühel, Sisak took the lead with two power-play goals in the second period, after a goalless first period. Kitzbühel managed to narrow the gap in the final period, but Sisak ultimately secured a 4-1 win.
