EC-KAC – Moser Medical Graz99ers
EC-KAC are the only team still unbeaten and without a single point dropped, while fourth-placed Graz are already five points behind the Klagenfurt side. On Friday, the 99ers defeated Vienna 3:2 in overtime at home, while KAC secured a convincing 7:3 win in Ljubljana. In last season’s championship campaign, Graz won three of the four meetings, with three of those victories coming by a narrow 3:2 scoreline.

FTC-Telekom – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Budapest and Salzburg will play the opening game of the day. The ten-time champions from Salzburg are still searching for their first win of the season. With just one point, earned against Innsbruck, the Red Bulls currently sit 13th in the standings. FTC recorded a 3:0 home win over Milano on Friday. It was their first victory of the season in only their second game. Last season, Budapest won both home games against Salzburg.

HC TIWAG Innsbruck – HCB Südtirol Alperia
In the Tirol derby, Innsbruck will be looking to return to winning ways. Bolzano have won each of the last nine meetings between the two sides. The Shark’s last victory dates back to 1 January 2024. The South Tyroleans are also in excellent form at the moment and have proven difficult to beat, with their only defeat coming in overtime in Graz.

HC Falkensteiner Pustertal – Steinbach Black Wings Linz
For last season’s runners-up Pustertal, this will only be their third game of the season. So far, they have recorded a 4:2 win over Graz and a 2:3 loss to KAC. Linz have already played four games and, after opening the season with two defeats, have followed that up with two wins. The Upper Austrian side sit fifth in the standings with seven points, while Pustertal are ninth with three points. Last season, both teams won two of their four head-to-head meetings.

Olimpija Ljubljana – EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV
Both Ljubljana and Villach have won two games so far, although the Slovenian side have played one game more. Ljubljana have lost their last two games, while VSV recorded a 4:2 away win in Salzburg on Friday. The two teams also met during the pre-season, with Olimpija coming out on top 4:3.

Pioneers Vorarlberg – Hydro Fehérvár AV19
The Pioneers are the only team still without a point, while Fehérvár have three points (ahead of their Saturday game in Innsbruck). Last season, the Vorarlberg side won three of the four meetings between the two teams.
