The duel between two of the ICE teams with the highest scoring average takes place in Salzburg, as EC Red Bull Salzburg scores an average of 3.28 goals per game, HC TESLA Orli Znojmo even scores 3.58 times per match. The performance of the two teams was different on Sunday. While the superior leader lost in Dornbirn after shootout, the eighth-placed Czechs once again showed their home strength, giving a strong HCB no chance. Znojmo's road record is capable of improvement, even though it has won three of the last five road games. With 0.88 points per road game, only Linz has an even weaker record. After a pointless road trip with defeats in Hungary and the Czech Republic, HCB Südtirol Alperia returns to the Palaonda on the coming matchday.
