The EK Zeller Eisbären have already won the regular season of the Alps Hockey League, as the team from Pinzgau can no longer be displaced from first place. The Rittner Buam SkyAlps and HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice are now in a duel for second place. Both teams still have two games to play, with the reigning champions currently one point ahead. After losing the Italian final, Ritten will now face Sisak on Saturday. The Croatians have recently suffered three defeats and have no chance of finishing in the top five ahead of their final regular season game. Ritten and Sisak have faced each other twice in the league and once in the Continental Cup so far this season - with the South Tyroleans winning all three encounters.

Jesenice conclude their regular season with two home games within 24 hours. Firstly, the Slovenians face Red Bull Hockey Juniors. Jesenice narrowly won the first two duels of the season. On Sunday, Slovenia will host the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. The team from Sterzing is still fighting with Cortina for fifth place, which means early play-off qualification. The Broncos have won their last four games, but have been beaten twice by Jesenice this season.

Three more teams finish the regular season
The Unterland Cavaliers, Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and Gröden also finish their regular season this weekend. The Cavaliers, who can still improve to seventh place, face Bregenzerwald at home. The South Tyroleans narrowly prevailed in the first two duels of the season.

Kitzbühel also play at home against Meran on Saturday. The Tyroleans (three wins in a row) can no longer be displaced from fourth place, while the visitors (three defeats in a row) are in ninth place. Kitzbühel have won the first two meetings of the season.

Val Gardena will finish the regular season in last place, with the team from Wolkenstein facing Celje in the final game. The Slovenians want to defend tenth place in their two remaining games. The direct season duel between Val Gardena and Celje is tied 1-1.
