Dominique Heinrich, six-time champion of the win2day ICE Hockey League and 98-time national player, has joined the spusu Vienna Capitals. The 32-year-old defender moves from EC Red Bull Salzburg back to his hometown.

Dominique Heinrich started his hockey career from his hometown, as the Viennese took his first steps with the Wiener Eislöwen and the EHC Team Vienna before moving to EC Red Bull Salzburg at the age of 17. His debut in the senior national team followed at the age of 20, and he has played 98 games for the team Austria to date. With the exception of a short period in the SHL with Örebro HK (22 games in the 2016-17 season), he has always played for Salzburg, winning six championships with the Red Bulls.

Heinrich is EC Red Bull Salzburg’s record player with 796 league games (123G|287A). In the past season, he played 42 games (5G|15A).
