Some AHL clubs strengthen their rosters

The two Austrian teams EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau have added offensive power. WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan signed experienced player Hannes Oberdörfer and extended with their captain. FBI VEU Feldkirch, EC Bregenzerwald, HC Gherdeina and HC Fassa Falcons also had some contract extensions.

The Hungarian forward Adam Fekti, who played for Red Bull Salzburg's youth teams earlier in his career, will go for goals for the EC "Die Adler" Kitzbühel in the upcoming season. After his time with Salzburg the physically strong 25-year-old mostly hit the ice in MOL league. Last campaign Fekti, who can play center or winger, hit the ice for KMH Budapest in the third Slovak league.
 
EHC Lustenau have added forward Dimitri Malgin to their roster. The 29-year-old was born in Russia and hit the ice for several Swiss youth teams in previous years. On senior level, Malgin always played in National League B (NLB) where he spent the last five seasons with Martigny Red Ice. Last campaign he was assistant captain of his team.
 
Sterzing found defensive pillars
In the last five seasons Hannes Oberdörfer played for HC Bolzano, where he also was part of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga championship-winning side. After 242 EBEL games and 28 matches for the Italien national team, the experienced 28-years-old trasnfers to Sterzing. In addition, the club extended Fabian Hackhofer's contract, who has always been an important cornerstones for the Broncos defense. Last campaign the 26-year-old led the team as captain and had his best year with three goals and 23 assists in 38 games.
 
Contract extensions in Italy and Vorarlberg
FBI VEU Feldkirch have extended contracts with two defenders as Josi Riener and Patrick Ratz stay with the club. Riener was the teams Captain in the last few seasons. After some years in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, the 31-year-old came to Feldkirch in 2012 and now he heads into his sixth campaign with the VEU. In addition, 24-year-old Patrick Ratz also stays with the Alps Hockey League side. The 18-years-old backup goalie Karlo Skec and 18-year-old forward Kai Fässler will head into their second Alps Hockey League season for EC Bregenzerwald. Both players will be part of the new "Future Club".
 
HC Gherdeina extended the contracts with four domestic players. 24-year-old Gabriel Vinatzer, who has almost 300 games for the club, signed an extension. Joel Brugnoli and Fabio Kostner, who are one year older and have together played 685 games for the fury, stay with the club as well as Samuel Moroder. In addition, HC Fassa Falcons have resigned 23-years-old defender Soel Constantin.
