The visitors from Bratislava made the stronger start and looked set for an away win for a long time. They led 2–0 until eight minutes before the end of regulation. However, South Tyrol fought back, equalised at 2–2 and forced overtime. The decision was eventually made in the shootout, where Eleonora Bonafini, who had earlier scored the goal to make it 1–2, converted the decisive penalty.

Highlanders edge past Budapest
The sixth-placed KSV Highlanders secured a tight 4–2 away win over ninth-ranked Budapest Jégkorong Akadémia. In the 46th minute, Sara Confidenti netted the go-ahead goal to make it 3–2, before sealing the win in the 59th minute. The Hungarian side had taken the lead in the 4th minute, but the Highlanders turned the game around by the 23rd minute. Budapest struck back in the 34th minute through Haizea Fernández, who had already scored the opening goal, keeping the contest close until the final buzzer.

MAC Budapest leave Graz no chance
Fifth-placed MAC Budapest had little trouble in their 4–1 home win over bottom side Graz99ers Huskies. The Hungarians were already 2–0 ahead after 17 minutes and extended their lead to 3–0 shortly before the end of the second period to effectively decide the game. Although the Huskies pulled one back in the 45th minute, the match never became truly competitive again, as Chavonne Truter restored MAC’s three-goal advantage in the 52nd minute. It was her second goal of the game.
