According to two-time Erste Bank Eishockey Liga champion’s press release, Giliati has “fast skating skills, a huge impact on the duels and an excellent game overview with a good feeling for open teammates”.

Before the forward moved to Bolzano for the first time in 2011-12, he played for the Toronto Marlies and the Norfolk Admirals in the American Hockey League. Further, he hit the ice for the Reading Royals in the ECHL. After his successful season with the South Tyrolean, he showed up in Finnish Liiga, playing for SaiPa and Espoo Blues. Later he was transferred to former KHL-team Medvescak Zagreb and then played for the Schwenninger Wild Wings the past three years.

“I am happy to be back at Bolzano”, Giliati said and mentioned: “Winning the Italian championship with the foxes was a highlight of my whole career. I was sure to return someday. Now, at the age of 31, I have developed as a player, but still play with the enthusiasm and dedication of being a 23-year-old. My goal is to give the fantastic white-red fans another great success.”
