The Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan outclassed the SHC Fassa Falcons with 5-1 and thus scored for the fifth time in a row. Sterzing have won their sixth consecutive home game. Fassa had to accept its second defeat in the intermediate round. The South Tyroleans had the better of the play for 60 minutes, with a total of 50 shots on goal, the "Broncos" built up enough pressure in the offense and were rewarded for it: Justin Maylan, who recorded a brace in the end, scored in the 18th minute to take the lead. His second goal on powerplay at the beginning of the second (21./PP1) and the goal of Alex Zecchetto (23.) provided the early preliminary decision. Fassa still has the possibility to reach the pre-playoffs in the remaining two games. Only one point is missing on third-placed Val Gardena, which has only one game left.
