"In 2015 we signed Steven Strong as a largely unknown player in Austria without professional experience, he immediately established himself as a regular in our team and has not only maintained this status since then. On the contrary, his game has become even more stable and detached, especially in the last three years, so that we are happy to continue to have him in our team. Steven Strong's actions are always oriented towards the success of the team, he stands up for his teammates and adds more physicality to our defensive play," said KAC General Manager Oliver Pilloni.

Capitals sign US-American
Los Angeles native Evan Weinger will play for the spusu Vienna Capitals in the upcoming season. The now 26-year-old forward started his hockey career with the Los Angeles Junior Kings before Weinger moved to the Western Hockey League to join the Portland Winterhawks for the 2014/15 season. In March 2018, he signed his first professional contract with the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL, where he would play the next four seasons. In total, the US-American played 233 games in the AHL, in those the right-shooter scored 89 points (42G / 47A).

"I've heard nothing but great things about the organization and the city of Vienna, so I'm very excited about my move. I'm already in the middle of my personal preparation and can't wait to finally get going in Vienna," said Caps newcomer Evan Weinger.

Sturm stays with Olimpija
The 24-year-old forward Jaka Šturm will complete his third season with HK SZ Olimpija next season. So far, he scored 22 points in 85 appearances in the win2day ICE Hockey League.
