Colton Yellow Horn (#13) of Moser Medical Graz99ers was involved in an incident deemed as  Slew-Footing (IIHF Rule 160) in the home-game vs. spusu Vienna Capitals on Friday, March 1st 2019, time 44:40. The video evidence was sent to the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga Safety Committee (PSC), which determined the incident to be worthy of supplementary discipline - Category 2 - 'Reckless'. According to the Arbitrator and having considered the video evidence and ruling of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga PSC, player Colton Yellow Horn (#13) of Moser Medical Graz 99ers, will receive supplementary discipline under rule 160 – Slew-Footing.

On March 1st in Graz, an incident occurred involving Colton Yellow Horn, deemed slew-footing. The incident was sent to the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga PSC and determined supplementary discipline is required. With play developing in the neutral zone, in the center ice circle area, Colton Yellow Horn faked the delivery of a body check on the opposing player, (#12) Sondre Olden, which is considered the start of and the incidents that followed. Following the fake body check, it is felt Sondre Olden engaged in a protective manner with a bump back on Colton Yellow Horn. The bump, created a  further chain of events with Colton Yellow Horn being bumped into another opposing player, (#9) Ali Wukovits. Immediately following the bump into Ali Wukovits, it is felt Colton Yellow Horn, not by accident or a victim of the original contact, but rather with an intent, slew footed Ali Wukovits. The reason for supplementary discipline is the action of Colton Yellow Horn stick from a low position up and across the head area of the opposing player, while at the same time and in an opposite direction, propelling his left leg in a sweeping motion from behind, taking the skates out from underneath the opposing player.  The action of Colton Yellow Horn is deemed slew-footing, resulting in an apparent injury to the opposing player, caused by the combination of the stick to the face and leg sweep. Approximately 6 minutes following the slew-footing incident, Colton Yellow Horn was assessed a 5min/GM for butt-ending, which has no direct correlation with this verdict. The butt-ending incident was not conclusive from the perspective of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga PSC, due to lack of video availability. Colton Yellow Horn will have a game misconduct on his record for the butt-ending incident. Effective immediately, Colton Yellow Horn is suspended for 2 games for the slew-footing incident and a game misconduct on his record for the butt-ending incident.
