Swedish new arrivals for Ritten and Kitzbühel

The EC “Die Adler” Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and the Rittner Buam both announced new Swedish signings. While Kitzbühel managed to sign Stefan Ridderwall and Lukas Fredin, a top goalkeeper and a young, promising defender, the Rittner Buam tabbed goalkeeper Kevin Lindskoug. Furthermore, Hannes Treibenreif will also play for Ritten in the upcoming season. On the other hand, Thomas Tragust leaves the club.

Two Swedish imports for Kitzbühel

The EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel announced the signing of the 31-year-old Stefan Ridderwall from Sweden. With Riderwall, the Tyrolese officials managed to add a goalkeeper with a lot of routine to the club. He became runner-up of the u20 world championship early in his career, played five seasons in the SHL and four seasons in the second Swedish league. Further he showed up one season in the DEL and another season in the DEL2. The past three years Ridderwall played in the first Danish League for the Rodovre Mighty Bulls. In addition to Ridderwall, Ritten tabbed Lukas Fredin. The 20-year-old defender came from Karslkrona and will reinforce Kitzbühel`s defensive for the upcoming season.

Ritten announces new netminder

The Rittner Buam also announced a player of Sweden. Kevin Lindskoug is the new netminder in Klobenstein. The 26-year-old goalkeeper came from the Polish champion GKS Katowice. He started his career at Malmö Redhawks, before joining Rögle BK in 2008. Moreover, the netminder played in Belarus, Denmark and the United States. In addition Ritten clarified the backup-position too with Hannes Treibenreif extending his contract for another year. The goalkeeper collected experience in the AHL during the recent years playing five games for Ritten past season. On the other hand, goalie Thomas Tragust will leave the Italian champion after just one season.
