Teams aim to end negative streak on Wednesday

Two games are scheduled for Wednesday in the Alps Hockey League. Three of the four teams in action are currently struggling. Both EC Bregenzerwald, Cortina, and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have recently suffered a string of losses and are looking to end their "mini-crises" on Wednesday. KHL Sisak, who will face EC Bregenzerwald on Wednesday, also lost their last game. However, the league newcomer is still in a relatively comfortable position due to their previous run.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors will square off against the recently unlucky S.G. Cortina Hafro on Wednesday. Last season's runner-up comes to Salzburg riding a five-game losing streak. But the Juniors also have little to be happy about, having only secured two points in their last five games. However, the Red Bulls remain in the top 5, partly because they’ve played the most games so far.

Things are also far from ideal for EC Bregenzerwald, who have lost their last five games and have only managed one win this season. On the other hand, things are looking much better for their opponent, KHL Sisak. Their three-game blowout winning streak was recently snapped by an OT loss to Unterland, but they remain within striking distance of the top teams.
