Teams announce roster updates, new headcoach for Zell am See

The EK Zeller Eisbären announced the signing of a new coach for the upcoming season. With Jaka Avgustincic, the management of Zell am See succeessfully signed their absolute favorite coaching candidate. The VEU Feldkirch announced the first new signing for the upcoming season as Phillipp Koczera joins the club. With Elias Lindner the Red Bull Hockey Juniors also announced the first external singing of the season. With a total of 11 contract extensions and 14 departures, Salzburg are again facing a roster upheavel. The Rittner Buam, the HC Val Pusteria Wolves and the EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel all succeeded in extending existing contracts.

Zeller Eisbären with new coach

With Jaka Avgustincic, the Zeller Eisbären presented their preferred coach for the upcoming season. The indigenous Slovene recently worked as sports director at Slavija Ljubljana. Previously he coached the U20 national team of Slovenia, the first team of Slavija Ljubljana and worked as assistant coach in Jesenice.

Feldkirch signs Koczera 

The VEU Feldkirch announced the first newcomer for the upcoming season of the Alps Hockey League. The 25-year-old Philipp Koczera will join the club. Koczera already played a total of 25 games for the VEU in the season 2014/15. Most recently Koczera played two seasons for EHC Lustenau. In 95 games, the striker scored 77 points (21 goals, 56 assists). It will be Koczera`s fourth season in the Alps Hockey League. Before joining the Alps Hockey League he also managed to play in the Erste Bank Eishockey League for EC KAC.

Salzburg faces upheavel

The Red Bull Juniors are again facing a roster upheavel. With goalkeeper Mauritz Merra and David Rattensberger, two players from the U20 team of the Erste Bank Young Stars League and with Filip Hadamczik and Tim Harnisch two more players from the U18 team of the bulls are drawn up to the Juniors. In addition to the defenders Alexander Frandl, Paul Stapelfeldt, Kilian Zündel and Valtteri Meisaari, with Paul Huber, Maximilian Rebernig, Elias Wallenta, Marcel Zitz, Aljaz Predan, Bastian Eckl and Filip Varejcka also seven strikers from this seasons squad will remain in Salzburg. Elias Lindner joins the Red Bull Academy from EV Landshut, which makes him the first external signing of Teemu Levijoki's team. On the other hand, the young bulls, however, also recorded some departures. With Nico Wieser, Lukas Schreier, Nico Feldner, Julian Klöckl, Yannic Pilloni and Samuel Witting six players are no longer part of the squad. They are going to play for the EC Red Bull Salzburg. With Tobias Schmitz, Daniel Wirt, Justin Schütz and Dennis Lobach, four other players have made the leap into another professional team. Leevi Laakso, Jesper Kokkila, Oliver Nordberg and Caspar Evertsson are also leaving the Red Bull Hockey Juniors.

Mattila stays in Bruneck

The HC VAL Pustertia Wolves announced the contract extension of coach Petri Mattila. The Finn is going to coach his third season in Bruneck. The squad of the wolves for the upcoming season is slowly taking shape. In addition to Coach Mattila, Hannes Stoll, Ivan Althuber, Danny Elliscasis, Armin Hofer, Raphael Andergassen, Tommaso Traversa and Simon Berger remain in Bruneck.

Ritten announces further contract extensions

The Rittner Buam continue to try to keep most of the squad of last season for the upcoming campaign. After eight contract extensions on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Buam extended the contracts with another three players on Thursday. The forwards Julian Kostner, Stefan Quinz and Philipp Pechlaner will be part of the South Tyrolean team in the season 2019/20.

Havlik extends in Kitzbühel

The EC ´Die Adler` Kitzbühel officially announced the contract extension of Adam Havlik. With 22 goals and 27 assists during the last season, the 28-year-old Czech became Kitzbühel`s topscorer.

Goalkeeper Jucers leaves Lustenau

Beside Koczera, the EHC Lustenau has announced another departure. Latvian goalkeeper Maris Jucers will return to his home country and play for Liepaja in the upcoming season. In Lustenau the 31-year-old played 21 games. His save percentage was 91.6 %.
