In the Alps Hockey League Pick, the top 3 teams chose their quarter-final opponents after the Master Round. With the first pick, EK Die Zeller Eisbären chose EC Bregenzerwald. Defending champions Rittner Buam SkyAlps will take on HC Meran/o Pircher. While Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel were able to select the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, last year's finalists S.G. Cortina Hafro remained for SIJ Acroni Jesenice.

The quarter-final pairings will be played in a best-of-7 format and in the rhythm A-B-A-B-A-A-B-A. All series begin on Saturday, March 8.

EK Die Zeller Eisbären (1) - EC Bregenzerwald (Winner Pre-Playoff 3)

  • EK Die Zeller Eisbären finished both the first phase of the regular season and the Master Round at the top of the Alps Hockey League table for the first time.
  • This is the third quarter-final qualification in total for the team from Pinzgau - but this round has always been the end of the line so far.
  • EC Bregenzerwald only finished the first phase of the regular season in twelfth place, but then really got going and won Qualification Round B and subsequently their pre-playoff duel against HC Gherdeina valgardena.it 2:1.
  • This is the Vorarlberg side's second quarter-final qualification in a row and their second appearance in this round.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps (2) - HC Meran/o Picher (Winner Pre-Playoff 1)

Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (3) - Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan (Winner Pre-Playoff 2)

  • This is Kitzbühel's second quarter-final qualification overall - they were eliminated in this round in 2023.
  • For the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan, it is the fifth quarter-final qualification in a row and the sixth overall in the league's history. Last season, they made it to the semi-finals for the first time.
  • Sterzing narrowly beat HK RST Pellet Celje 2:1 in the pre-playoffs.

SIJ Acroni Jesenice (4) - S.G. Cortina Hafro (5)

  • As fourth after the Master Round, SIJ Acroni Jesenice could not choose their quarter-final opponent and were given the only unpicked team, S.G. Cortina Hafro.
  • After SIJ Acroni Jesenice missed out on the quarter-finals last season, they qualified for the play-offs this year without problems.
  • This is the seventh quarter-final qualification for the 2023 champions - they have always made it through to the semi-finals so far.
