Last summer, PULS 24, Austria's youngest private broadcaster, acquired the free-TV rights to the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League. Following the successful debut season, PULS 24 is now entering its second year as host broadcaster. The TV partner will broadcast the most important games of the multinational league, which for the first time consists of 14 teams. Around 45 matches will be offered live on free TV and can also be seen via online stream on the Zappn app (zappn.tv) and on puls24.at. Fans can also look forward to prime-time ice hockey, with Friday evening becoming the host broadcaster's new main broadcast date. The match between champions EC-KAC and the spusu Vienna Capitals will open the championship on September 17, 2021.

Mario Lenz, Director Group Sports Rights of ProSiebenSat.1PULS 4: "We are very much looking forward to our second joint bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season and especially to finally being able to join in the excitement with the fans in the arenas. In consultation with the league, we have decided to schedule our live games on Friday nights as best as possible this season because we are convinced that the competition belongs in prime time."

Derby doubleheader to be a highlight
PULS 24 has already made its selection of games leading up to the first national team break in November. After the opening weekend with the game between EC GRAND Immo VSV and Steinbach Black Wings Linz will also be broadcast on Sundays, five rounds will follow on Fridays. There will be a novelty on October 26, the Austrian national holiday. With the games HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie against the Dornbirn Bulldogs and HC Pustertal against HCB Südtirol Alperia, PULS 24 will show two derbies in a row in a doubleheader.

"The anticipation for the season and the further cooperation with PULS 24 is already great. The entire PULS 24 team has done an excellent job in the first year of our cooperation and brought our sport to the fans' screens with first-class broadcasts. We see the new prime time broadcast date as great recognition, it shows the high status of our league. We are all looking forward to great live pictures from our ice rinks again," says Christian Feichtinger, Managing Director of bet-at-home ICE Hockey League.

PULS-24 commentator Martin Pfanner: "Actually, it can't start again soon enough. The team around our experts, commentators and broadcasters is already full of energy. Personally, I'm looking forward to the doubleheader, where PULS 24 will be able to deliver almost six hours of live ice hockey to living rooms at home with the broadcast of two consecutive games."
