Sat, 03.03.2018: Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 – HC Fassa Falcons (19:00)
Referees: MISCHIATTI, MORI, Basso, Rigoni.
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 has already won this regular Alps Hockey League season. Therefore, the „Yellow-Reds“ will have the first pick right in Innsbruck on Sunday (11:30) choosing their opponent in the Quarterfinals. The Vice-Champion can pick a team placed between place 5 and 8. Prior the leader will face HC Fassa Falcons in the last round of the regular season  The Vice-Champion was convincing at home during last weeks. The „Yellow-Reds“ have won eleven consecutive home-games. Besides Asiago left the ice as the winner in the last four meetings with the Falcons and allowed in total just three goals. Fassa on the other side will finish the season in Asiago on Saturday. The Falcons will try to end their bad run. Fassa was defeated in nine consecutive games…

Sat, 03.03.2018: EC Bregenzerwald – FBI VEU Feldkirch (Dornbirn, 19:00)
Referees: GAMPER, OFNER, Holzer, Tschrepitsch.
EC Bregenzerwald (10) and FBI VEU Feldkirch (4) will face each other for the second time within four days in Dornbirn on Saturday. Feldkirch won the last derby after a high scoring home game 7:4 on Tuesday. While the Championship will end for the Wälder with the „Vorarlberg-derby“ on Saturday, the Playoffs will take place in Feldkirch 2018 as well. The VEU needs (at least) one point in Dornbirn to settle on place 4 for sure and to have home-advantage in the Quarterfinals. Otherwise, HC Pustertal Wolves would have the chance to overtake the VEU in the ranking with 3 points in their home-game vs- HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Dylan Stanley and Co. had a good run lately: The VEU has won three consecutive games, while ECB has celebrated just one win during that span. ECB would settle on place 10 for sure, when collecting one point in the derby. But the „Wälder“ could finish on place 9 or 11 as well. VEU has won five conscutive meetings with the „Wälder“.

Sat, 03.03.2018: EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau – Red Bull Hockey Juniors (19:00)
Referees: LAZZERI, VIRTA, Bedana, DeZordo.
While EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau will miss this Post Season, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors will play their first Alps Hockey League Playoffs this year. Salzburg needs three points in Lustenau on Saturday to settle on place 7 for sure. Otherwise, WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan have the chance to overtake the Red Bulls in the ranking in the last round. EHC „Alge Elastic“ Lustenau is ranked on place 12, but the Lions still have the chance to move up some places. The Lions would move up to place 11 with a home-win for sure. In the best case Lustenau would even make a jump forward to place 9. The team of Christian Weber was convincing at home lately: The Vorarlberger have won three consecutive home games and have scored 17 goals. The Mozart Citizens had ups and downs lately, wins and defeats roated in their last four games. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors have lost on Thursday at home against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 1:5. But the Mozart Citizens will travel with good memories to Lustenau, they have won the first season-meeting at home at the beginning of September 4:1.

Sat, 03.03.2018: EC-KAC II – HK SZ Olimpija (19:00)
Referees: KUMMER, WIDMANN, Bedynek, Snoj.
EC-KAC II will finish their hockey-season with a home-game against HK SZ Olimpija on Saturday. The Red Jackets have lost all 19 home-games this season and have conceded in total 98 goals. HK SZ Olimpija has been the team of the hour: The Slovenes have left the ice as the winner in five consecutive games and scored 21 goals, while allowing just five goals. The Dagons are still in the fight for place 5. Olimpja is two points behind Bruneck. This means, the Slovenes must win in Klagenfurt on Saturday, to have a chance to overtake HC Pustertal, that will face HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. Olimpija has won all three season-meetings with EC-KAC II.

Sat, 03.03.2018: EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (19:00, Live-streaming SKY Sport Austria)
Referees: SUPPER, WALLNER, Oberhuber, Rinker.
EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel will settle on place 13 after this Alps Hockey League season. The Tyroleans will finish this Championship with a home-game against HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice on Saturday and will try to end their bad run: The Eagles were defeated in six consecutive games. HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice will settle on place 3 after this regular Alps Hockey League season. This means, the Red Steelers will pick their opponent for the Quarterfinals as the third team after Asiago and Rittner Buam. The Slovenes can choose one of two remaining clubs placed on place 5 to 8. The Red Steelers arrive with confidence in Kitzbühel. Jesenice has won four consecutive games and have netted 19 goals. Besides, the Steel Citizes left the ice as the winner in the last five clashes with Kitzbühel.  The game is streamed live on SKY Sport Austria.

Sat, 03.03.2018: HC Pustertal Wolves – HC Gherdeina valgardena.it (Bruneck, 19:00)
Referees: HOLZER, STRASSER, Kalb, Piras.
HC Pustertal Wolves will settle on place 4, 5 or 6 after this regular Alps Hockey League season. The Italians must win vs HC Gherdeina valgardena.it in regular time at home on Saturday and Feldkirch must leave Dornbirn without points in the same time, only in that case the Wolves would finish on the fourth place and would get home-advantage for the Quarterfinals. Bruneck had a good run lately: The HCB collected 13 points (four wins) from their last five matches. The Furies on the other side were defeated in three consecutive road-games. Besides HC Gherdeina valgardena.it has lost five consecutive meetings with the Wolves and the Furies are without a win in Bruneck for two years.

Sat, 03.03.2018: Rittner Buam – HC Neumarkt RIWEGA (19:00)
Referees: BENVEGNU, F. GIACOMOZZI, Ch. Cristeli, P. Giacomozzi.
All decisions are already done prior the game Rittner Buam (2.) vs. HC Neumarkt RIWEGA (15.). The Rittner Buam will finish this regular Alps Hockey League season on place 2. This means, the Champion will pick their opponent in the Quarterfinals as the second team after Asiago in Innsbruck on Sunday (11:30). The Champion can choose one of three remaining clubs ranked on the places 5 to 8. HC Neumarkt RIWEGA on the other side will finish this season on place 15. The „wild-geese“ have had a bad run lately. Neumarkt has been defeated in all ten games in the year 2018 so far. But watch out: Rittner Buam have had some problems lately as well: The Champion celebrated just one win in the last four rounds. But the South Tyroleans have won all (nine) meetings with Neumarkt.

Sat, 03.03.2018: Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro – WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan (19:00)
Referees:  KUCHER, PODLESNIK, Stefenelli, Wiest.
With Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro (9) and WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan (8) two neighbours in the standing will meet each other in Cortina on Saturday. While Cortina has barely missed the Playoffs, Sterzing has qualified as the eight and last club. Both teams are looking forward to this game: Cortina needs the points to defend place 9, otherwise the former Italian Champion could fell to place 11. The Broncos on the other side are still in the fight for place 7. Both teams have had the same run (W/D/W) lately. The Furies were on fire on Thursday as well and netted ten goals against EC-KAC II. Sterzing has won four consecutive meetings with Cortina, the last three clashes by just one goal difference.
