Ten games are on the schedule in Alps Hockey League this weekend, inter alia the top-clash Leader Rittner Buam vs. HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice. Then the championship makes a one week break, because of the International Break.

04.11.2017: EC-KAC II – FBI VEU Feldkirch (16:00)
Referees: FAJDIGA, KAMSEK, Bedynek, Miklic.
>>On Saturday EC-KAC II tries to get their first season-win at home against FBI VEU Feldkirch! So far the Red Jackets lost all 14 games in Alps Hockey League 2017/18. In their last home-game the Carinthians came close to get their first season-win, but finally they were defeated by HC Neumarkt Riwega in Overtime. The Feldkircher on the other side played strong on the road lately: The team from Vorarlberg collected points from their last six road-games (four wins). Besides the west-club won so far all four clashes with the EC-KAC II.
 
04.11.2017: Red Bull Hockey Juniors – EC Bregenzerwald (19:15)
Referees: LEGA, MISCHIATTI, Basso, Kainberger.
>>The Red Bull Hockey Juniors had a good run lately! The Mozart Citizens won their last four games. This weekend the Red Bulls will have two chances to extend their winning-series: On Saturday they welcome EC Bregenzerwald and on Sunday arrives EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau in Salzburg. But take attention: The „Wälder“ are the best Austrian team on place 6 and they also have the best Power Play in the Alps Hockey League!
 
04.11.2017: EK Zeller Eisbären – HC Gherdeina valgardena.it (19:30)
Referees: LAZZERI, MOSCHEN, Bergant, Markizeti.
>>Zell am See sees two games this weekend: On Saturday the Polar Bears welcome HC Gherdeina valgardena.it and on Sunday arrives FBI VEU Feldkirch at Pinzgau! EK Zeller Eisbären and HC Gherdeina valgardena.it try to return on the winning-street quickly after loosing the last games. The statistic speaks for EK Zeller Eisbären: So far in all six clashes between this two teams the home-club left the ice as the winer. Besides the Italians lost their last three road-games, while the Austrians celebrated a win in their last home-game.

>>WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan was defeated twice lately, but nevertheless the Italians collected points from their last four games! The Broncos play strong defense, in 13 games the team of Ivo Jan received just 25 goals (top)! On Saturday the Italians welcome now in their last match before the International Break EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel, that is looking for their first road-win 2017/18. The Tyroleans, who lost so far all five road-games and scored just seven goals, will arrive at Sterzng with the confidence from two home-wins in a row. In the last two meetings WSV had the upper hand.

>>HC Fassa Falcons had problems lately! The Falcons were defeated in their last four games and they did not score for 149:01 minutes! On Saturday Fassa welcomes now Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro. Cortina also got just one win from their last five matches, but was able to collect points four times. On the road Cortina must improve, the S.G. lost their last four road-games. But the fifth placed team won the last four meetings with their Italian opponent from Fassa.

>>Rittner Buam will spend the International Break as the leader for sure! But before the National Team break starts Ritten will see the top-clash between the Leader and persecutor HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice on Saturday. The Rittner Buam won their last eight games and scored so far the most goals (64). The Slovenian team was successful in eleven from their last twelve matches in Alps Hockey League, just their last road-game at Ghederina the Red Steelers lost in this period. Rittner Buam and HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice faced so far four times, in the last three meetings the Slovenians left the ice as the winner.
 
04.11.2017: HC Pustertal Wölfe – HC Neumarkt Riwega (20:00)
Referees: PODLESNIK, WIDMANN, Piras, Stefenelli.
>>In the first game under the lead of interim coach Ivo Machacka HC Pustertal Wolves was on Fire and beat HC Gherdeina valgardena.it on the road 7:1. For Bruneck it was the first victory after three defeats in a row. Now Bruneck will face on Saturday with HC Neumarkt Riwega again an Italian opponent. For HC Neumarkt Riwega on the other side the last six rounds were an up and down, win and defeat rotated. Lately the wild-geese got two points against Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro thanks their best season-performance, but they stayed on place 16. The wolves won so far all five meetings with Neumarkt.

>>With Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey 1935 and HK SZ Olimpija two neighbours in the standing will fight for place 3 on Saturday at Asiago. In this moment Asiago is third with 30 points or ten wins from 13 games. The Slovenians follow close behind on place 4 with 29 points or ten wins from 16 games. Olimpija, that won 2017/18 so far all games in Italy – at Gröden, Neumarkt, Cortina and Bruneck – expect a difficult task at Asiago. The Yellow-Reds convinced so far at home, they got points from all six home-games, lately Asiago won at home even five times in a row.

>>For EK Zeller Eisbären and FBI VEU Feldkirch it will be the second game within 24 hours. The Polar Bears welcome before on Saturday HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, while the Vorarlberger are guest at Klagenfurt. The last two meetings between this two clubs won the road-team, that scored both times exactly six goals.

>>EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau arrives with new Head Coach Albert Malgin and rested on Sunday at Salzburg. Besides the Vorarlberger signed with Jeff Ulmer a new top-forward, who can not yet help his team this weekend. The Lions are just on place 14 and lost lately twice. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors on the other side will make already their second game, they face before on Saturday at home EC Bregenzerwald. The last two meetings won Lustenau.
