The 29-year-old Canadian made waves last season with Pioneers Vorarlberg, playing a key role in the franchise's first-ever playoff appearance. Owre racked up an impressive 56 points and was named league-wide MVP – leaving a lasting impression on Innsbruck as well: In the two Pre-Playoff games against the Sharks, he notched six points (3 goals, 3 assists).

After spending a season in Switzerland with La Chaux-de-Fonds (Swiss League), the offensive dynamo is now returning to the ICE – this time in HC TIWAG Innsbruck colors. It will be Owre’s fifth season in Europe. The left-shot forward has already proven his offensive skills at previous stops, including Cergy-Pontoise (Ligue Magnus/FRA) and the Belfast Giants (EIHL).
