The three teams from the win2day ICE Hockey League will open the new Champions Hockey League season with home games in early September. The Moser Medical Graz99ers and EC-KAC will face the reigning national champions of Switzerland (Fribourg) and France (Bordeaux) in their opening matchups. Salzburg will begin its campaign with a clash against the Kölner Haie, followed by a meeting with Czech side Liberec.

Since the draw took place in Switzerland at the end of May, the three teams from the win2day ICE Hockey League have known their six opponents for the Champions Hockey League regular season. The full fixture list for Europe’s premier ice hockey competition has now been finalised.

The three teams from the win2day ICE Hockey League will kick off the CHL season with home matches in early September. League champions Graz will host the current national champions of Switzerland (Fribourg) and France (Bordeaux) on 3 and 5 September. EC-KAC face the same opponents to kick off the season – albeit in reverse order. Salzburg will first take on the Kölner Haie, who will also be KAC’s opponents a week later. In their second home game, the Red Bulls will face the Czech side Liberec, who will also play Graz in mid-September.
