HC Pustertal Wölfe (5.) welcomes EC-KAC II on Wednesday. The Italians will try to end their bad run, the Wolves have been defeated in four consecutive games and have scored just one goal during that span. EC-KAC had problems lately as well: The Red Jackets have lost their last two games. But watch out: Klagenfurt got a victory in their last road-game in Salzburg. Besides the road-team left the ice as the winner in all (three) meetings between this two clubs.

Both - FBI VEU Feldkirch (4.) and WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan (7.) - are in the Playoff race and were convincing in the last rounds. Both clubs have won four from their last five games and have left the ice as the winner in their last game. Whenever Feldkirch and Sterzing have meet, the Vorarlberger have won.

HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (3.) and EK Zeller Eisbären (11.) will face each other for the 2nd time within four days on Wednesday in Jesenice! The Austrians have won the last meeting on Saturday at home 1:0. For the Pinzgauer it meaned the fourth consecutive win, which has increased their chances to make it into the Playoffs. The Slovenes on the other side have not won a single game since fixing the Playoffs. The Steel Citzens have been defeated in their last two games. On Saturday the best offensive team even could not score for the first time this season in Zell am See. The Austrians have won the last two meetings with the Red Steelers.

Red Bull Hockey Juniors (10.) welcome Rittner Buam (2.) on Wednesday. The Mozart Citizens will try to get closer to the Playoff spots. In this moment the Bulls are four points behind place 8. The Austrians have had an up and down in their last five games, a win and a defeat has always rotated during that span. Rittner Buam will travel with confidence and with good memories to Salzburg. The Champion has been successful in their last game in Bruneck with 1:0 and has left the ice as the winner in all (three) meetings with the Red Bulls. Besides the Champion allowed the fewest number of goals (62).

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it arrives for the first time ever in Ljubljana on Wednesday. While HK SZ Olimpija (6.) still needs points to stay in the Top 8, the Italians are already out of the Playoff race. The green Dragons have won the first season-meeting at Gherdeina clearly with 5:0. Besides the Slovenes ended their bad run after four consecutive defeats with a 2:0-Shut Out home win over the Red Bull Hockey Juniors on Saturday. The Italians on the other side were left without points in their last two games. But watch out: The horses have won their last road-game (in Neumarkt 8:1).

The only Austrian clash in this round is played between EC „Die Adler“ Stadtwerke Kitzbühel (13.) and EC Bregenzerwald (8.) in Tyrol on Wednesday. Both clubs are still in the Playoff race. The Tyroleans will fight for their last chance to make it into the Top 8, the „Wälder“ need points to defend place 8. Both teams have won their last two matches and have been on Fire too: The Eagles scored twelve goals in the last 120 minutes, ECB was successful eleven times.

Leader Migross Supermercato Asiago Hockey 1935 (1.) and HC Neumarkt Riwega (15.) have shown different faces all over the season: While the „Yellow-Reds“ have won sixteen consecutive games (record) right now, the „wild-geese“ have been defeated in their last six games and are just on place 15. Asiago has won all (eight) meetings with Neumarkt.
