Moser Medical Graz99ers - Steinbach Black Wings Linz
The series between Graz and Linz is a true overtime battle. Each of the last four games went into overtime - a first in the league's 25-year history, with four playoff games in a row being decided in overtime. Both teams have emerged victorious twice. In addition, the 99ers prevailed 9:6 in a spectacular opening game, giving them a 3:2 lead in the series and allowing them to clinch a spot in the semi-finals in front of their home crowd on Friday. PULS 24 and JOYN will broadcast the showdown live from 19:05. Graz has won both home games in overtime so far in this series and is unbeaten in its last five home games. In contrast, the Black Wings have only won two of their last ten away games.

EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV - HCB Südtirol Alperia
In the series between Villach and Bolzano, the home team has always won the first five games. The visitors from South Tyrol therefore have the chance to seal their place in the semi-finals with an away win on Friday. The “Foxes” celebrated a commanding 6:1 home win on Tuesday and won the series opener 4:1. However, the South Tyroleans didn´t win in Villach: VSV first won 4:3 after overtime, followed by a 5:3 victory. Overall, Bolzano has only won two of its last ten away games, while Villach has only lost three of its last ten home games.

HC Pustertal - EC-KAC
The regular season champion EC-KAC has to fight hard against HC Pustertal. On Tuesday, they lost 2:4 in front of their home crowd, which is why the series will continue in Pustertal on Friday. The South Tyroleans, who lost 0:4 to Klagenfurt in the semi-finals last season, won the first home game of the series 3:0 before suffering a clear 1:4 defeat. It was their first home defeat against the KAC in the fourth duel of the season. However, the KAC are in good form away from home and have won six of their last ten away games. On the Pustertal side, top scorer Jason Akeson will miss the game due to an injury he picked up in Klagenfurt on Tuesday. In addition, Petan, Andersen and Frycklund, who have been injured for some time, will be missing. On the EC-KAC side, Nick Petersen is in danger of being ruled out.
