Among others the second-placed Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey faces third placed S.G. Cortina Hafro. Leader HC Pustertal Wölfe plays a home match against the HC Gherdeina valgardena.it, which recently won four games in a row and is already in sixth place. In the only match on Friday the currently best Austrian team, the EHC Lustenau, will play against the Vienna Capitals Silver.

The EK Die Zeller Eisbären lost three of their last five games. Most recently they lost against the HC Pustertal Wölfe with 1:3. They have lost the last two games abroad. In the league table Zell am See is in 16th place, the Steel Wings are 18th. In the Alps Hockey League both teams never played against each other. In preparation for this season, however, both teams played a friendly match, which won the EK Die Zeller Eisbären with 3:1.

Last Sunday the Red Bull Hockey Juniors were able to end a five-game defeat series with a 3:1 away win in Kitzbühel. The HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice last conceded a 3:4 defeat in the 500th Večni Derbi against HK SZ Olimpia Ljubljana. In the league table the Young Bulls are in 15th place, Jesenice is on twelfth place. With only one home victory Salzburg is only seventeenth in the home table. Jesenice, on the other hand, was only able to win one match abroad. In the direct duel Salzburg was always the better team in the past duels. They could win the last five matches against Jesenice.

All six games were clearly won by the South Tyroleans.

Both teams are separated by six points. With only 18 goals conceded Pustertal has the best defense of the league. Goalkeeper Colin Furlong saved 93.9% of all shots (3rd place). With four goals from two games, Simon Pitschieler was crucial in both Gherdeina's victories last week, which is why he was chosen „Top Performer of the Week“. In the H2H Pustertal won all six games against Gherdeina. In the last two duels GHE did not even score a goal. The total score from all six games is 32:6.

In the league table the Italians are already in second place. Cortina's deficit on ASH is only two points and one place. They have just lost two of their ten games this season. Both of them after shootout. With 46 goals from 13 games Asiago currently represents the best offense in the league. With only 19 goals conceded Cortina has the best defense in the league. Although Asiago have conceded 37 goals, Gianluca Vallini conceded only 18 goals in his eleven season appearances. Therefore he is the best goalkeeper with a save percentage of 94,2%. SGC goalkeeper Marco Roia De Filippo is in second place with 94.1%. So far, both teams have played six games in the Alps Hockey League against each other. Asiago won four of the six duels.

The EHC is therefore already in eighth place in the league table. The Capitals Silver won only one of their last five games. The league rookie is therefore in 17th place. A big problem of Vienna is the utilization of scoring opportunities. VIC just scored 16 goals from 312 attempts (5.13%). That means only the 18th and last place in the league.
