The Rittner Buam SkyAlps and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors have both conquered the top two places in the Alps Hockey League in recent weeks with impressive winning streaks. While the South Tyroleans, who are currently leading the league, are aiming for their eleventh win (without losing points) against HC Meran/o Pircher on Thursday, the young Salzburg team could extend their winning streak to nine games in the Austrian duel against EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel. Three more games in the Alps Hockey League are also on the program on Thursday

Alps Hockey League:
Thu, 07.12.2023, 19:00: EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel - Red Bull Hockey Juniors
Referees: KAINBERGER, RUETZ, Eisl, Rinker | >> valcome.tv <<

The game between EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and the Red Bull Hockey Juniors will be marked by "Corin Konradsheim Night". Former ice hockey crack Corin Konradsheim had a serious accident in 2017 and has been fighting his way back ever since.

The Red Bull Hockey Juniors are - alongside the Rittner Buam - the team of the moment in the Alps Hockey League. With eight wins in a row, the young Salzburgers have fought their way up to second place. They even took maximum points in seven of these eight victories. The starting position of EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel is quite the opposite, having won just one of their last five games. As a result of this weak period, the Adler have lost touch with the top six, although Kitzbühel won the first season duel between these two teams 4:2.

Thu, 07.12.2023, 19:00: EC-KAC Future Team - SHC Fassa Falcons
Referees: LESNIAK, MEIXNER, Bergant, Javornik | >> valcome.tv <<

Two teams from the bottom third of the table will meet in Thursday's game between EC-KAC Future Team and SHC Fassa Falcons. While Klagenfurt are finally looking to get back on track after 15 games without a win or points, the Falcons have won two of their last three games to climb to 13th place. The first duel of the season between these two teams was a fairly clear-cut affair for Fassa, although the young Klagenfurt side initially took the lead.

Thu, 07.12.2023, 19:15: Steel Wings LINZ AG- Hockey Unterland Cavaliers
Referees: MOIDL, OREL, Pötscher, Puff | >> valcome.tv <<

The game between Steel Wings LINZ AG and Hockey Unterland Cavaliers pits two teams in the middle of the table against each other, even though the Upper Austrians have recently suffered a setback after a strong phase and lost their last two games. The Cavaliers, on the other hand, have won two of their last three games and are therefore in a much better starting position. However, the Cavaliers are still ten points behind the top six. In their first meeting this season, the lower-ranked Steel Wings Linz prevailed in a penalty shootout.

Thu, 07.12.2023, 19:30: EHC Lustenau - EK Die Zeller Eisbären
Referees: SCHAUER, SPIEGEL, Fecchio, Jäger | >> valcome.tv <<

After three defeats in a row, EK Die Zeller Eisbären finally got back to winning ways last Saturday. The former league leaders, who have now slipped back to third place in the table, celebrated a hard-fought 4:3 shootout win against Kitzbühel. Nick Huard made the difference: not only did he send Salzburg into overtime, he also decided the game in the shootout. Lustenau, on the other hand, have made up some ground in recent days and stalked the top six again with two wins, even if they are still eight points behind. In the first duel of the season, the Polar Bears narrowly prevailed in a thrilling game.

Thu, 07.12.2023, 20:30: HC Meran/o Pircher - Rittner Buam SkyAlps
Referees: GIACOMOZZI, PINIE, Cusin, Formaioni | >> valcome.tv <<

The Rittner Buam are currently the measure of all things in the Alps Hockey League. The South Tyroleans have not conceded a point in an incredible ten games and have thus taken the lead in the table. On Thursday, the leaders visit HC Meran/o, who have lost their last two games. The first meeting between these two teams went to the Buam, despite falling behind early on. Kevin Fink scored a brace in the process.
