Moser Medical Graz99ers - Hydro Fehérvár AV19
Graz, third in the table, plays against Fehérvár in the top game. The visitors are seven points ahead of the 99ers in second place in the table. The two teams first faced each other in Hungary on November 24. Back then, Fehérvár narrowly prevailed 5:4. The current form is similar on both sides, with three wins from the past five games. On Wednesday, Graz celebrated a 4:1 home win against Pustertal, while Fehérvár narrowly won at home against Ljubljana 2:1. The team from Székesfehérvár has been unbeaten away from home for eight games. Their last away defeat was on September 29 in Salzburg. Graz have won their last two home games. Overall, however, the Styrians are “only” the sixth-best home team.

EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV - Olimpija Ljubljana
Villach will face Ljubljana in the Karawanken derby on Friday. In the first duel of the season, Olimpija narrowly won 3:2 at home. However, the current form speaks in favor of VSV, who are directly behind the Slovenians in eighth place in the table. The two teams are only separated by three points. The “Eagles” have won their last two games, while Olimpija narrowly lost 1:2 at Fehérvár on Wednesday, but before that they had won two games in a row. These were the “Dragons'” first successes after five defeats in a row before.

Steinbach Black Wings Linz - HCB Südtirol Alperia
League leaders Bolzano face a difficult away game in Linz. Should the league leaders win at the fourth-placed team, it would be Bolzano's 400th league victory. However, the Black Wings have won nine of their last ten games and have not lost at home in their last five games. However, Bolzano is also in breathtaking form with six wins in a row. On Wednesday, the “Foxes” won the Il Grande Classico at Asiago with 5:0. Linz also kept a clean sheet in their 6:0 home win against the Pioneers. This season, the two teams faced each other right at the start of the season in Bolzano. Back then, the home side won clearly with 5:0.

HC TIWAG Innsbruck - HC Pustertal
Two struggling teams, Innsbruck and Pustertal, face each other in the Tyrolean derby on Friday. The visitors from South Tyrol have been waiting eight games for a win. The tenth-placed team's last win was against Salzburg on November 3. Innsbruck are twelfth in the table and therefore outside the pre-playoff places. They are four points behind Pustertal. The form of the “Sharks” is not much better, last weekend they conceded two clear away defeats in Vienna (0:10) and Fehérvár (1:7). Before that, however, they defeated EC-KAC 4:3 at home. It was one of two victories from the last ten encounters. In the first duel with Pustertal, the HCI conceded a 1:4 defeat.

Pioneers Vorarlberg - EC-KAC
Pioneers Vorarlberg, who are bottom of the table, are not in good form either, with six defeats in a row. Opponents EC-KAC have won three of their last five games and currently occupy the important sixth place in the table. Klagenfurt's lead over seventh-placed Olimpija is four points. The KAC were last in action on Sunday, celebrating a 3:1 home win against Asiago, while the Pioneers suffered a clear 0:6 defeat away to Linz on Wednesday. It was one of three encounters in the last six games in which the Pioneers failed to score a goal. The two teams faced each other in the quarter-finals last season. The KAC won the series with 4:2. In the current campaign, the Carinthians won the first season duel 5:2.

Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey - spusu Vienna Capitals
Asiago and Vienna face each other in the sixth game of the 26th round. While the hosts from Veneto have not won any of their last three games, the Capitals have prevailed in two of their last five encounters. Among other things, they celebrated a 10:0 victory over Innsbruck last Friday. The Capitals are ninth in the table with 27 points, while Asiago have 24 points and are eleventh. This means that important points are at stake in the battle for the pre-playoffs on Friday. Vienna narrowly won the first game of the season 2:1 at home.

HC Pustertal - spusu Vienna Capitals
Just 24 hours later, the Capitals play at HC Pustertal in the only Saturday game. It is also the second game in two days for the South Tyroleans. On Friday, the “Wolves” will face Innsbruck away from home. Pustertal and Vienna have already faced each other twice this season. In the first duel, HCP won 4:2 in Vienna, followed by a clash in Bruneck on November 22, which the Capitals narrowly won 1:0.
