KAC extends with Rok Tičar 

The reigning champion EC-KAC extended the contract with Rok Tičar. The Slovenian thus fills the sixth and for the time being last import spot in the line-up of the KAC.

Rok Tičar (32) made his debut at the age of 20 in the former EBEL, with HK Jesenice he proved himself in higher leagues. Between the summer of 2011 and his move to Klagenfurt, the center represented eight different clubs from the DEL, KHL and SHL in eight and a half years. At the same time, Rok Tičar also established himself as a permanent fixture in the Slovenian national team, with a total of nine World Cup tournaments and participation in two Olympic Games. His years of touring through Europe's leagues ended in the late stages of the 2019/20 season with his transfer to EC-KAC: since then, the attacker has played 73 league games for the KAC, in which he has recorded 68 scorer points (26 goals, 42 assists). In the past season, only league top scorer Nick Petersen (73) collected more points in the red and white team than the Slovenian (61). In the fifth final game at HCB Südtirol, Rok Tičar was responsible for four points - the best score of his career with the Redcoats so far.

New defender in Znojmo

HC Orli Znojmo has announced the signing of 31-year-old defensive player Jordon Southorn. The Canadian spent the last three seasons in Slovakia, most recently with Dukla Michalovce. In addition, the Canadian has experience from Russia (both KHL and VHL).

Brucker extended in Linz
Marco Brucker will remain with the Steinbach Black Wings 1992 for two seasons and thus until the end of the 2022/23 bet-at-home ICE Hockey League season.
